Most probable Redshirts:

Bryan Brokop
Dicaprio Bootle
Boe Wilson
Caleb Lightbourn
Patrick O'Brien
John Raridon
Ben Stille
Jack Stoll
David Englehaupt
Tony Butler

Possible Special Teams Contributors:

JD Spielman - return game
Tre Bryant- return game
Derrion Grim - return game
JoJo Domann- Coverage units

Legitimate non redshirts (unless injury issues arise):

Lamar Jackson
Marquel Dismuke
Greg Simmons
Pernell Jefferson
Quayshon Alexander
Collin Miller

Wildcards:

JoJo Domann - Big Time play maker. Depth at Safety could be an issue if injuries occur. He may need to play earlier than anticipated, especially if it looks like Dismuke and Lamar will be Corners.
Matt Farniok- An offensive tackle earning PT as a true freshman is rare and downright scary. But Farniok has a ++ Big Ten Body right now, (no homo.)

Since we're on the topic of special teams.....

Nebraska only loses these main special teams contributors from 2015:

- Tariq Allen
- Anthony Ridder
- Byerson Cockrell
- Andy Janovich
- Jon Rose

They will be gaining the extra services on ST from these players:

Avery Anderson
Eric Lee
Mohammad Barry
Alex Davis
Lavon Alston
Daishon Neal
Davis Twins
Matt Snyder
Zack Darlington - Seems like an obvious candidate for up man in front of the punter.
Luke Gifford - missed 10 games last year... up to 6'3 230
Bryan Reimers
Reid Karel
Blake Holtmeier
Bo Kitrell
Wyatt Mazour
Brody Cleveland

You won't replace Janovich on special teams. He was one of a kind, but you have to imagine it shouldn't be too difficult to replace the others, especially with more candidates.

Btw, I would go outside the box and play AJ Bush on special teams, but that would probably be stupid.
