That's an article. And a terrible one. And the article barely mentions masks and says the air filtration of the cabin removes 99.99% of virus particles. It doesn't even say what kind of masks. Pretty strong sign it's garbage.

It really is that simple. Protect the vulnerable, take reasonable precautions ourselves in terms hygiene and health and then get on with our lives.

According to Pew Research the US had 71% of children in 2 parent households in 1997, and the number climbed to 72% in 2017. So where’s this dramatic shift you speak of? Yes, it is true that some minorities are significantly more likely to come from single parent households, but to blame that on the women for not keeping a “man” is exactly what I called it, misogynistic crap.
First women have chicken arms at least most of them. Basically however my point is that kids especially boys get somethings from a father that a mother as much as they try cannot do or give. The opposite is also true. From the 80's to this decade there was a significant rise in single parent homes. I believe that is now showing up in kids in their 20's who have real issues and many who do not believe in traditional values. If a single parent was the optimum way to raise kids then history means nothing. By the way you are liberal in your posts and I am just stating an observation. I dont see many conservatives calling someone an ist name

First - have you not seen what's going on ? Statues are being torn down that have stood for a hundred years. The division in this country borders on civil war due to the woke generation seeing things so differently.

Most of those statues were heroes of the Confederacy, also known as traitors to the union. You shouldn't have to work too hard to understand why they came down. At the same time, I don't think history should be erased, though perhaps a more honest telling is in order.
Did you really, within the same post, talk of fear of a Civil War, and then also defend the monuments to the men who led the last war against our country?
I do see what’s going on, the country is moving past the policies of old, trying to grow. America is Americans, a place for freedom and equal rights for all. Not just a narrow group who clings to dead relics of the past.
Both sides have managed to pit the working class and middle class against each other when they really share the same interests and should be on the same side. It's the corporate and elite class who couldn't care less about either group.

I hadn't heard of the Abe Lincoln or US Grant. I'm conflicted on Churchill. He was perhaps the greatest leader of modern history during the pivotal moment of the 20th century. On the other hand, he was an unabashed racist, a huge proponent of colonization, hateful in the extreme toward Indians and especially Gandhi, who he saw as bad or worse than Hitler.
Taking the other side of the debate, the one thing that does get me is the idea that we'll find some infallible person, and for that person we'll build a statue. Ain't gonna happen.

You do not tear things down if there is a legit reason for it to come down there is a democratic process to make that happen. Why would anyone think this is acceptable according to that reasoning I guess the pyramids should be destroyed they were built with slave labor. What are the policies of old that the country is trying to move past?

The history obscured in this conversation is that these monuments, statues, whatever, weren't built in the 1700s, or even pre-Civil War, they were built in many cases in the decades after the Civil War. They celebrate, in a very menacing way, the legacy of the Confederacy. If I'm an African American person living in the shadow of those monuments, I doubt I'd be pleased that my government is venerating these men. It ain't revisionist history to call it what it is, and always has been, it's what actually happened. To be sure, history is written by the victors, but we've moved past colonial times and slavery. Why must Native Americans and African Americans continue to endure the specter of those tragedies imposed by the very governments meant to represent their interests? As for Egypt, it can do whatever it wants with the Pyramids, but nobody is denying they were built by slaves.

I'm not really asking you to give me a list of all the statues that have been forcibly removed, but your premise that most are being lawlessly torn down is inaccurate, at least from what I've seen. And woke white people, come on man, that's a gross exaggeration. Are there woke white people involved, surely there are, but just as you claim that WWP are patronizing African Americans, you aren't giving them any enough credit for leading. Regardless of whatever Fox News article you find to support your argument, from what I have read over the many months, far more often these monuments are tumbling due to massive public pressure. If want to get technical about it, the Confederacy wasn't just put on the ballot, it was taken to the battlefield, and it lost.

If there is no quota, why did you say that I had reached it? Is there something wrong or lesser about drinking Seltzer? I personally don’t, but not sure how that would matter. Since you seem to care, I typically go for DIPA’s and TIPA’s, with some others mixed in here there along with some liquor mixed in on occasion. Hope that lets me keep my “man card”.
