So, being a new Liberal Democratic Socialist Globalist, I need some perspective on if I should be concerned that my President elects family ties to Patrick Ho Chiping, who a Manhattan court just upheld convictions for violating Foreign Corrupt Practices Act by attempting to bribe high-ranking officials in Chad and Uganda.

That, in itself, is not concerning to me as a Democrat. What is concerning is what that loud mouth POS former business partner of the Bidens, Tony Bobulinski, said about the deal that Hunter Biden had struck for $10 million a year for 3 years was with the same Patrick Ho Chiping, when he was going to pay Hunter for "making introductions" and the "Big Guy" was to get 10%! This is concerning to me as I do not want my beloved representatives bribed or leveraged, surely the "Big Guy" in the initials drafts of the contract were not President-elect Joe Biden?

I am keeping the faith, but I do not know who else or what else Hunter Biden would have of value that is worth $30 million over 3 years that does not involve his father's position of power and influence? As a new member of the party, under Joe's leadership, I am concerned my leader and his family seems to be involved in shady stuff in China, Ukraine, Iran, Kazakhstan..... Please help me put my mind at ease that our newly elected official and his family are not tied into shady deals that would interrupt President Biden's ability to do what is right for America, rather than who has purchased influence!

Thank you, a new concerned Democrat Socialist!

On Tuesday, a federal appeals court in New York upheld the bribery conviction of the former chairman of a think tank bankrolled by a Chinese energy conglomerate with ties to Hunter Biden, the son of President-elect Joe Biden, The New York Post reports.

Back on December 5, 2018, Patrick Ho Chi-ping, the former Hong Kong home affairs secretary, was convicted for violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act by attempting to bribe high-ranking officials in Chad and Uganda. On Tuesday, the three-judge panel maintained that conviction.

After being released in June from a 36-month prison sentence for good behavior, Ho was deported to Hong Kong. In 2019, he was given the sentence as well as a $400,000 fine.

Ho was accused of offering bribes to these officials in order to secure oil drilling rights on behalf of CEFC China Energy, an important Chinese energy company that funded a think tank which lauded its “special consultative status” with the United Nations and an office in Manhattan. Ho was the think tank’s primary director.

According to prosecutors, during a December 2014 meeting Ho and CEFC executives offered $2 million in cash crammed into a box to President Idriss Déby of Chad. On top of that, around February 2016, Uganda’s foreign minister, Sam Kutesa, allegedly took a $500,000 bribe from Ho that was masked as a payment to a charitable organization.

The judges stated in the ruling—despite Ho’s argument that there’s insufficient evidence—that the evidence brought forward during the trial was “more than sufficient” to prove that he acted on behalf of a U.S. non-governmental organization to “assist it in obtaining business for CEFC Energy”.

Ye Jianming, who was linked to China’s military and intelligence services, was CEFC’s chairman until he vanished after being apprehended by Chinese authorities in early 2018.

According to documents obtained by The New York Post and published in an October 15 report, Hunter Biden reached a deal with Ye for half-ownership of a holding company that was anticipated to give him more than $10 million a year for making “introductions.”

The documents were found in a laptop that Hunter Biden left at a computer repair shop in Wilmington, Delaware back in April 2019. Later on, the FBI obtained the laptop as part of an investigation.

Another document The Post published included an “Attorney Engagement Letter” executed in September 2017 in which Ho, one of Ye’s chief underlings, agreed to pay Hunter Biden a $1 million retainer for “Counsel to matters related to US law and advice pertaining to the hiring and legal analysis of any US Law Firm or Lawyer.”

In other exchanges between Hunter Biden and CEFC released by The Post on December 16, the younger Biden said that any deals struck would be “interesting for me and my family.”

Included in an email sent to Hunter Biden in May 2017 are details of “remuneration packages” for six people involved in an unspecified business venture in which he was referred to as “Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,” The Post reported.

Under a “provisional agreement” laid out in the email, 80% of the “equity”—the shares in the new company—would be divvied up equally between four individuals whose initials correspond to the sender and three recipients, with “H” supposedly being Hunter Biden.

The email also mentioned “10 Jim” and “10 held by H for the big guy?”

Separately, in June 2017, Hunter Biden urged Ye to “quickly” wire him $10 million to fund a failing business venture, SinoHawk Holdings, which dissolved in October 2018, The Post reported.

Earlier this month, Hunter Biden announced that he was the subject of a federal investigation into his “tax affairs” as well as his foreign business dealings. The investigations of him, which commenced in 2018, are also looking at if he and his business associates broke tax and money laundering laws.

Fear not, comrade. I too have recently seen the light and converted to a Democrat Socialist Globalist. Heil Moloch! Whenever there is bad news related to our fellow comrades in Congress, or the White House, you needn't worry. Just remember three simple words. "ITs RuSsIaN DiSiNfOrMAtiON!!!" Our allies in the media will spin up propaganda to ensure these stories go quietly into the night like a captured Chinese dissident. We are never held accountable for our actions as long as we keep blaming the Republicants of that which we do.

Your welcome
These are laughable. Clearly Manofort was a criminal, but his bank fraud cases are not stealing funds they are overstating income to get larger loans he shouldn’t be receiving. Clearly those are crimes, but was different in being involved in bribing governments and receiving bribes from governments. He was forced into solitary confinement which was a total shakedown.

Those other two got totally railroaded are are not and never were working for the Russians.

Stop!!! This is just what the Russians want you to believe. Join me, and Comrade @Husker12-2, to become Globalist Socialist Democrats. It's easier to just chant the propagandists' narratives and believe all our nation's ills are attributable to one orange guy and not our steadfast brethren who have boldly and courageously served in congress for decades.

No worries, Biden's clean. ;)

And more than that, he's NOT Trump.

Since I am a new Democratic Socialist and I have not completed my indoctrination, can you save me some chapters and help me with the reasons I should hate Trump? I know that Orange phocker is bad, but why do we hate him so bad? A lot of my new Democratic Socialist idols; Oprah, Dave Letterman, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, most of the rappers, Clintons..... all loved Donald Trump, in years past, and it is causing me to get caught in a dissonance between my old perspective and my new perspective, as my new leaders seem to have flip-flopped for no discernable reason? My indoctrination manual stresses Trump is a racist, but Jennifer Hudson used to tell a story of him saving her family during the most difficult time, hanging with black leaders, winning cultural minority awards..... cause confusion, especially when my new endeared leader the great Joe Biden spoke in reverence of a known KKK leader, in Robert Byrd, but luckily my indoctrination sponsors have taught me to pay attention to the forest and not be bothered by the trees! Transitioning from right to left has been very challenging on a holistic level! All I know is I now hate the Orange man, I don't know why, but man I hate that ego-centric guy and what he did to America, and when I find out what he did, I am going to have beliefs and actions aligned! #HarrisAbrams2024

Orange man bad - remember those 3 words and you'll be fine. It doesn't matter why, you're on the correct side now. All the cool kids hate Trump. That's all you need to remember.

In December 2017, Flynn formalized a deal with Special Counsel Robert Mueller to plead guilty to a felony count of "willfully and knowingly" making false statements to the FBI about the Kislyak communications and agreed to cooperate with the Special Counsel's investigation.

According to transcripts, however, Flynn’s conversation with Kislyak regarded foreign policy and strengthening sanctions towards Russia. This foreign policy discussion was not “material” to the Russian election interference probe. Therefore, the DOJ could not prosecute Flynn under § 1001 for falsifying statements over the conversation.

On January 25, 2019, Stone was arrested at his Fort Lauderdale, Florida, home in connection with Robert Mueller's Special Counsel investigation and charged in an indictment with witness tampering, obstructing an official proceeding, and five counts of making false statements.

You're welcome
Orange man bad - remember those 3 words and you'll be fine. It doesn't matter why, you're on the correct side now. All the cool kids hate Trump. That's all you need to remember.

So it is a baseless emotion and that makes it even easier to irrationally hate! Thanks for the validation, it is confusing on the correct side, but I am so free steeped in tolerance and absence of judgment or bias! I should have come over here a long time ago, it is all starting to make sense!

I am so glad the "stay home to flatten the curve" turned into "stay home until you accept socialism", and now I see the beauty of communism on the horizon! Thank you, Covid!!

You mean I may have been tricked and this is one big swamp projection onto an easy orange Target?

Swamp projection
or
Swamp protection
or
Swamp projection for protection? 🤔

I've scoured my liberal Democratic socialist globalist manual and it speaks of nothing on how to deflect/redirect decades of congressional wrongdoings being projected in a hyper focus manner onto a single existential threat!

Wow!
Decisions, decisions!

It's tempting, and you make a great point, but I'm staying on my new left side, cuz I'm a bit of a junkie and mainlining ignorance/denial is bliss!

When the denial and ignorance addiction leaves you powerless and your life unmanageable, I hear there is a new TDS treatment Center in Mara-A-Lago and Florida is nice this time of year!

I too once believed in facts and context. But then, once I became a Globalist Socialist Democrat I realized I could make up my own facts and tell everyone who disagrees with me they are a science denier or a racist. It's much easier to live this way. Plus, I get to identify as whatever I want now. Today, I am a toaster. I make the bread warm and toasty. Feels good, man. Very sciency.

Does the "T" in "LGBTQ" stand for Toaster?

I have to see if there is a newer version of my Liberal Democratic Socialist Globalist training guide, as that is not covered either!

I am at the chapter on how we destroy the foundation on which we stand through compromising, then eliminating the Constitution, Bill of Rights, electoral college, Supreme Court (John Roberts leveraged with Epstein's pedo flight manifests doing that already!), take down borders, crush the melting pot and go with "Salad Bowl" , attack the worn-out Judeo-Christian American culture with multi-culturalism, regulate/tax all evil corporations so they will leave America and rid us of that burden.......

I am beginning to hate America and all the freedoms, principles, and rights, that have given me 54 years of life, so I think the indoctrination and training are working. It is slow and confusing, to cheer for my own demise, but it does feel free, superior, tolerant, and virtuous!

At what point, in this OWG Globalist Communist paradigm, does the "Monthy Government Guaranteed Income" start arriving! I love FREE sh*t and constraints on evil successful people and corporations!! #HarrisAbrams2024

I will check back for clarification on the "T" and Toaster question, but for now, I need to empty all my retirement and equity accounts to send all balances to something called the "Open Society Foundation" like the manual says!

This George Soros fellow, they are teaching me about, must really love America as much money as he spends on us!

Can you believe the egos of these former "leaders" to think our fidelity and sovereignty could be so fragile, FOOLS!
