Yep you guessed it, it's Keyshawn Johnson Jr. However, Key Jr isn’t just peer recruiting in California. Last week after he committed, he texted Austin Allen (Aurora). “We’re going to get Nebraska back to where it’s supposed to be,” Allen said Johnson wrote in the text. “I can promise you that.”

Think about all the people who don't "like" or "retweet" his tweets. KJJ has 13,000+ twitter followers. Somewhat said it right in another post...he very well may be a huge magnet to N. Looks like he's already on it.

I'm trying to figure out if runzas used to be better back in the day, or if I was just insane.

I remember mom making homemade ones and I know those were good.

I love the cheeseburgers and fries from Runza...love them ...Always stop in Ogallala on my drive in to the state

I get Runzas once a year when I travel back to Nebraska and there is no doubt the Runza Hut product has gotten progressively worse over the years, especially the ones sold at the stadium. Runzas are supposed to be fluffy baked goods with hearty filling inside, not taco meat wrapped in cadaver flesh. We had an ethnic pot luck at work and I made Runzas with my mom's recipe except I used frozen bread dough instead of baking from scratch (sorry mom). It was a big pot luck and the runzas sat there for awhile as people ate the sexier food like Asian and Mexican. However, word spread after a few people had them and the plate of 30 was gone after people went back for seconds. They were very good and people really liked them. It is surprising how many people in California had never eaten cabbage before.

Their burgers and fries and rings are much better than Runzas.

It has been 10 years since I had a Runza (moved out of state) - but the cheese Runza would say that is BLASPHEMY based on what a Runza was in Omaha in 2006.....but I get the product might not be as good now.

Its along the lines of Vals. Used to be good but now not so much to me. I agree with much of the above....love the Runza burgers and fries so I'm still a regular customer. Vals.....can't remember the last time I choked on of those down.

Agree, Runza's burgers are better than the actual Runza itself. But when you find one of those farm boys whose mom makes the real thing...THOSE are delicious.

And I'm sure these kids wont be basing their college decisions on fast food joints. :p
How about that Kansas player who was arrested for assault when he climbed through the drive through window to kick the worker's butt who forgot his chalupa in the order. That guy seemed pretty passionate about his fast food.
