Chase Loftin..

Wow Fong generally is spot on with his shit. That's about as good as can be expected. Anybody local know about the kid as a player??

Holla
I know he's a four star 6,6 " 220 dude with good hands that we wanted. Ran 11:75 in the 100 meter , 20.5 in long jump. I have not seen Millard South this year.

Well they’re loaded.. MS and Westside hopefully meet in the State championship game.

What was his reasoning for FSU the first go around. I like having great athletes, but is he filled with drama? I get it that NU hasn't been good, but still curious of his reasoning for going somewhere else.

Okay so speaking of the TE position. What is the deal with AJ Rollins, I remember watching this kid in HS, particularly on the basketball court, and really thought he had the tools to be a special TE.

Also it still kind of stings not getting the kid from Pierce last year. He has already played a pretty big roll for Iowa State in his season and a half.

It seems like we've had quite a few TEs that haven't panned out over the last decade or so. It was the less-recruited guys like Stoll and Allen that did well, but highly-recruited guys like Rollins, Hickman, Rafdal, Carnie, etc. didn't do much. Fidone has had injuries....hopefully Carter Nelson doesn't become another one that disappears.

I know he hasn’t played a lot in recent games, but he’s played plenty. What makes you think he will disappear like those other guys you mentioned? He’s already played more as a true freshman than all of those guys combined in their careers.

According to Rivals, all those guys were either 5.6 or 5.7 3-stars. Fidone was the only highly-ranked TE we have landed recently, that is actually playing TE. Jurgens was highly rated but played OL and Nelson was too, but is playing WR.

Surely Johnny Mitchell has a kid running around that might be able to play. IMO Johnny and Junior Miller are the Husker gold standard for TEs.

Junior was a stud. Basically a small OT with hands and wheels
