CFB betting week 3

KState needed a ref gift to beat a G5 team with a brand new coaching staff.

Officially selling all my Klieman stock

3-4 last week

8-5 on the year

Will post nfl picks going forward, also
Week One I went 4-2 when I had told myself all off-season I wouldn't bet until week 2 or 3.

This week I passed in order to let things settle down and to get out of so many blowout type spreads which have been mainly good, but some doozies have happened.

I've decided going forward I will only wager on games with a 1/2 point spreads, I'm not gonna wager any parlays which can result in a push. I either want to win or lose, I don't want to put the time and effort into it and then just have my money returned.

a push on one leg of a 6-team parlay just knocks it down to a 5-teamer, no?

It depends on the betting site/casino you use. Some will, as you say, reduce it from a 6 teamer to a 5 teamer payoff. My casino will not, they will just refund the wager as if it never was placed, thus refunding that wager.

It's just easier for me to go with the 1/2 point spreads which results in more concentration on less games, keeping in mind those games that could move that 1/2 point later in the week and add that team to the mix.
