I apologize that this is all second hand, but I wasn't at school yesterday, so the following info comes from various staff who met with Coach Cav:
Matt had told me Cav was coming on Wed and that he thought it was weird that they couldn't talk to each other.
Cav told one of our staff he stayed overnight Wed in Sioux Falls (wish I would have known that, I could have sent some hookers and blow to his hotel room). He was at school ~6:30 am to watch Matt and the football team go through drills. He was at school for about 1 1/2 hours. One of our biology teachers is a season ticket holder and he said he talked to Cav for about 1/2 hour. I'll get more from him if I can. Cav also inquired about some of our other players, which is a nice recruiting tactic. Cotton would do that too, even though we only have Matt as a true D1 prospect. It sounds like Matt is still #1 on their recruiting board and will be getting as many visits from coaches as possible.
I received a question from a RSS member regarding which tackle position they are looking for him to play. In the opinion of both Coach Cav and Coach Cotton, Matt can play wherever he wants. His arms are long and his feet are quick enough for speed rushers and he's strong enough to handle a bull rush.
Cav then flew to Des Moines to see Rairdon.
Sorry I can't give you more details, but the fact that Cav was here first makes a difference.
