These defense didn't stop anyone when we needed them too.If Texas had Nebraska Defense they would have had more wins. His 5-7 record is not because he can't play it's because the Texas D was terrible this year.
This defense is highly overrated.

You mean the best defense since 2010?These defense didn't stop anyone when we needed them too.
This defense is highly overrated.
No..they just gave up a TD in OT.The Nebraska defense that didn't give up a first down the entire second half against MSU?
Yeah thats not correct. These defense didn't stop anyone when we needed them too.
This defense is highly overrated.
We were 3-9 and got ravaged by every team....except for 2 FCS teams and Northwestern.Yeah thats not correct.
They didn't give up a TD in OT.No..they just gave up a TD in OT.
They waited longer to give up a crucial drive.
Did you actually watch any games? Or just check final results online? We were 3-9 and got ravaged by every team....except for 2 FCS teams and Northwestern.
Who did they shutdown and allowed us to win a game.
Average defense is now the standard?
Teams played with back ups at crucial positions and still moved the ball against us.
You guys are delusional just to have pride in a program that's terrible.
The defense sucks too.
Illinois embarased this defense in the first game of the season and it continued throughout the season.
We had a team with a great defense and a terrible offense and they finished 10-4 not 3-9.
Other than nostalgia, I can't see Casey wanting to really go to Oklahoma and have to compete against Gabriel for a starting spot. It’s really going to sting if he goes to OU to fight for a job and maybe be the back up vs coming here and starting.

Yeah, even I saw enough Nebraska football to know you had a good defense. And "good" isn't even a fair term to describe what they did on the road at MSU. Maybe there was another game where they played even better, I don't know.Lofl....this dude didn't watch any games
It was an unofficial. 0 contact with staff, as we are in a dead period until the 11th. Purdy is coming in the weekend after.Apparently he was in Lincoln yesterday

A transfer QB visits town; Nebraska offers 2022 RB, TCU commit Ajay Allen
Sources say former Texas starting QB Casey Thompson visited Lincoln on Wednesday with his dad.journalstar.com
You are right. They were about to but they didnt need that. They didn't give up a TD in OT.
When our offense took leads in games. They did enough to win.Sparty
Ohio St
Oklahoma
Iowa (without 2 of our best players)
All games lost by a combination of the offense and special teams where our defense did more than enough to win.
Did Gabriel use it?These "100% committed" memes crack me up....They should put air quotes around every one of them.
Yep. 100% committed until I change my mind.....These "100% committed" memes crack me up....They should put air quotes around every one of them.
Hopefully he didn’t come to check out the weather. It was an unofficial. 0 contact with staff, as we are in a dead period until the 11th. Purdy is coming in the weekend after.
Classes at UNL start on 1/18, and the dead period ends 7 days prior to that or Jan 13th, which ever comes first.
The last day to enroll for spring is 1/25.
the defense was sufficient, the offense was a day late and dollar short 9 times, and special teams a 1.5 on the 1-10 scale
Nebraska vs Mizzou....I think we got Casey locked up
Huh… and I thought your posts yesterday were due to alcohol consumption. Now I see you posting the same stuff in the morning. When our offense took leads in games. They did enough to win.

You might have a drinking problem.
I'd love for us to land Thompson. I'm sure he's evaluating a lot of things about various programs, but if he's objective, the opportunity to start at NU has got to be as good or better than other schools and then there's the Whipple factor. Thompson also has to like what he did with Pickett. Not a member so I can't read, but
Morning Brew: Nebraska in the mix to land Casey Thompson
In today's Morning Brew, Nebraska is a leading candidate to land Texas quarterback Casey Thompson in the transfer portal, according to our 247Sports Nebraska site - Husker247.com.247sports.com
Correct. He graduated last May, did it in 3 years.I'd love for us to land Thompson. Thompson has to love what he did with Pickett.
I believe he's a grad transfer and has a lot of experience -- which we are lacking greatly. Smothers proved he can manage a game and throw it as needed (16-22 v. Iowa), but it would be nice to have someone like Thompson to elevate the offense and perhaps also grab Purdy as insurance, although he has virtually no experience either.
When our offense took leads in games. They did enough to win.
Hopefully that will be enough to get him. Hasn’t committed yet.So, per his dad, Thompson was down to 5 schools:
Nebraska - ???
Missouri - Already reported Missouri is NOT looking at him
Oklahoma - just got a committ from Dillon Gabriel of UCF (and still has Caleb Williams)
Auburn - just got a committ from Calzada of Texas A&M
Indiana - just got a committ from Connor Bazelak of Mizzou
Pretty clear?
