I thought it was in response to the Iowa state patrol 'guarding' the logo at midfield, preventing NU from conducting their usual pregame prayer routine.

There isn't any explanation that explains that classless move. As Team Captains they should take the higher road and respect a long running college football tradition.

Right or wrong, we’ve all seen several pre-game scuffles over the years when an opposing team purposefully occupies the home team’s mid-field logo. It’s kind of ridiculous but it’s a thing. Have to believe the officers were there to prevent a tussle. It worked, I guess.

From what I hear about this God guy, he would also be able to see/hear them in the clubhouse doing the same thing.

Nebraska has been pulling that kind of crap it seems forever. I just don't get it. Go out, respect your opponent and all is good. To do that pregame and then piss a game down your leg is justice served IMO.

After all these head coaches in the last dozen or so years, Nebraska still has a culture problem. Not sure why you folks can't figure it out, but, we sure love it in Iowa City.
