What is the NFL rule on that? I root against Cam Newton (and the Broncos for that matter), but Stewart put his helmet to Cam's helmet. How was he not ejected? Insane.
When you figure out what is targeting and what isn't let me know, because every week I have less and less of a clue.
Gifford hit was targeting.
Yeah, Gifford was targeting him to make a hit, not spear his helmet.Officials are taking a lot of heat today.
I think the QBs who can run or are a tough tackle the way Big Ben and Cam are don't get the benefit of calls that guys like Brady or Manning would get who are more pocket-passer types. They did throw a flag for roughing on that second head shot, but it was negated by the intentional grounding.
Gifford hit was targeting.
Gifford hit him high. If that same hit happened against our QB, you all would be singing a different tune.
It certainly doesn't.Nope. Just saying the same thing ad nauseum doesn't make it so.

The fines go to charities to aid former players. Actually a tax write off for the players I believe. The NFL likes the idea of fining players instead of ejecting them. We shall see if he gets fined after review by the league!
