Cameron Brown

Wait, this can't happen. Have we been in heavy conversations with him?? Why would he be committing? I'm guessing our coaches have been after Josh Moore and other top prospects.

Welcome to the family!! GBR!! Another 4 star!! Boom

Should we be worried about Fuller maybe backing out of his commitment? We're still in it with Moore and he announces in a month so I'm a little shocked we took another WR already.

I don't think Nebraska is as interested in Jordan Moore as they are Josh. If they are going to go to school together, it won't be in Lincoln. My opinion.

I'm not sure we are worried about Fuller; however, I think this does illustrate that we have learned our lesson the last couple years. We are signing a full WR class for sure. Not getting left one short.

I am not surprised. We absolutely need wide receivers in this class. And they aren't gonna fool around and waste time on guys who may only be marginally interested in us. When a 4 star player with excellent metrics at a position of need commits, you take it.

Being left at the altar by 2 flakes last 2 years I think they learned their lesson. Don't recruit flakes!! Lol

Why would we be worried about Fuller? Unless USC makes a huge press for him, I think we're safe. USC tends to prefer the bigger WRs anyway. Jalen Hall, Jody Lewis; guys that are tall and long. USC is also going after Amon St. Brown, who is probably the #1 WR in the country right now and is basically a bigger version of Fuller.

3. Brown's mid-3-star recruiting rating doesn’t speak to his test results. His 40-yard dash time is very comparable to Husker signee Tyjon Lindsey (4.50 seconds). So, too, is his vertical jump — Brown leapt 40.9 inches while Lindsey leapt 39.6. Lindsey had the better shuttle time (3.86 seconds vs. Brown’s 4.20), and he had the better overall Nike SPARQ score — 129.33 to Brown’s 115.02. But Brown is inside the nation’s top 100 in scores right now, one spot below Amon-Ra St. Brown, the nation’s No. 19 player according to 247 Sports Composite. While St. Brown weighs a few more pounds, the closeness in scores indicates recruiting services have, to some degree, underrated Brown. Which is fairly common for Midwestern recruits.

USC isn't the only offer he has. I was more pointing out the fact we're still in on Moore.. so that would be Fuller, Chase, Manny, now Brown and if Moore was N that would be 5 WRs in a very small class. Seems like a lot but if Fuller was out (who I haven't heard much on and still hasn't visited Lincoln yet) we'd have 4 WRs.

Yeah but there's a reason he's 3 stars on Rivals. If the athletic testing numbers are that close, then Amon-Ra St. Brown is a much better football player at this stage in their careers. Rivals isn't just ranking Cameron 5.6 for no reason. He's gone to camps and has plenty of game tape for them to scout. Cameron's teammate Babb is a top 100 recruit.

Cameron Brown from St Louis is N. Same high school as Trey Bryant. 4 star on scout and a 3 star on the other sights. His commitment it moves up to number 8 in team rankings

Chase was recruited as a CB, not WR

I see what you're saying, but scout did rate him as a 4 star... what are they seeing that rivals isn't?

Out of all those guys, Fuller is the best and most polished WR. He is a guy we do not want to run off or lose.
