Add a new school to the recruitment of Park Crossing athlete Cam Taylor.
Auburn has showed late interest in the Park Crossing athlete, who played quarterback for the Thunderbirds but projects as a defensive back in college.
Taylor had narrowed his choices to Nebraska, Missouri and Troy, but he said tonight that Auburn is now in the mix but has not yet extended a scholarship offer.
"Can't really explain the feeling," Taylor said. "Honestly, if they offer, I would have to make a decision. If they don't, I would still have to make a decision."
Taylor moved from No. 15 to No. 13 on the postseason A-List, after running for 1,146 yards and 16 touchdowns and adding 1,616 passing yards and 15 more TD passes in 2017. He also played safety in passing situations and earned spot on the Class 6A All-State Team as an athlete.
