Cam Jurgens: From Shi#$y Snapper to NFL All-Pro

I think you mean pro bowl. Creed Humphrey and Frank Ragnow are the 1st and 2d team all pro centers. Pro Bowl is a nice recognition but it’s not the same as all pro.

He also got away with a blatant hold on Saquan's last long TD run.... Refs have been choking on their whistles all day. Why have rules? I say that and I was sort of rooting for the Eagles.
I’ve noticed that in the games today. Just because it’s cold and snowing in a playoff game not much of anything is being called

I think they need to either just get rid of holding OR lineman have to wear what would essentially be oven mitts.

The rule is just soooooooooooo subjective and the price for the flag is huge.

Yep. I mean you can call holding on every play even in HS . The official pick and choose when and where to call it. That’s wrong . I think the Oven mitt idea is actually pretty creative.

I mean, why not right?
It makes sense and it would make "holding" almost impossible. So try it out in some preseason games and see how it goes.

We KNOW that it is not called at the rate it should be called and that is fine. We are okay with that, but, take it out of the refs hands and put oven mitts on the lineman.

It will sure as sh*t be more than it has been. By "many many many" are you trying to turn this thread into another anti-Rhule circle jerk?

Our previous regime produced 2 2nd rounders in 4+ years

I hope you’re right and our current regime produces more than that

It really isn't subjective, there is the rule as written in the rulebook, but every league, conference, division, and level has a philosophy of what a hold is and isn't and when it should be called. All college is similar. NFL has their own and published a video explaining what must occur for a hold.

The hold must fit into a category and must have material impact on the defender's ability to make a play, be at the point of attack, and the offense must gain an advantage. The only subjective part is if the defender had an ability to make a play on the ball.

Couple examples of "holds", but won't be called.
1. On a pass or run to the outside, the opposite side tackle holds the DE. This won't be called because the defender wouldn't have made a play and it wasn't at the point of attack.
2. Pass play, interior DL gets held, but DE makes a sack. This won't be called because the offense didn't gain an advantage and defense sacked the QB.

Saw Luke McCaffrey was suited up for the Redskins also but I never saw him in a play. That’s another major miss if we had a guy who was good enough to be on a playoff professional team as a receiver, and we were trying to force him in his quarterback, the whole time.

Think he forced the QB issue. Him and daddy.

I may be wrong, but that is what I recall.

He transferred to Louisville with the intention of playing quarterback there, then quickly transferred to Rice with the intention of playing quarterback there and then ended up playing receiver.

He is the one the forced the QB issue the whole time. You are a troll or an idiot. Probably both .

If anyone or anything benefited from Frost, it was jurgens. Remember the prior staff saw a TE. A lot of recruitering gurus services saw him best as a DE. Frost got it right
