2026 Irvine (Cali.) Crean Lutheran three-star defensive lineman James "Tank" Carrington is scheduled to officially visit Nebraska in June. Oklahoma and LSU also scheduled to get an official visit from him. Washington, USC among others in the mix.
Has been a national recruit since he was a freshman, has versatility across a three-man front. Packs a punch, natural body strength to maul his way to the backfield consistently. Has bounced around a few programs to this point, set to finish out his high school career in California. Older for the cycle, having already turned 18 back in January. Stands right around 6-foot-2, 260lbs, could potentially get up to 285/290 down the line. Think Elijah Jeudy for a frame/role comparison.
