Anybody going? It would be 60 miles across the basin for me. I would consider it since it is Sunday traffic, but am putting the finishing touches on a kitchen remodel and can't really break away.

its 10 miles from where I work but I am driving up to Oakland tomorrow for Golden State Cle so hard pass on that plus its 100º out here..screw that noise...owh has enough people out here to fill us in

Only 100? Here in Phoenix, that's what it will cool off to by 10 tonight.

I've been to Phoenix in the summer time. I would move from one shaded area hurriedly to the next. Not my cup of tea, but I know some people love the sun.

Will be nice to hear info on the camp, especially athlete attendance numbers.

It is cooling off a bit, will be only 89 in Calabasas tomorrow. It was 102 in Cucamonga today.

Large fire in the Calabasas hills right now, copters and fire crews everywhere. Several homes are threatened.

The fire is the top story on national news. Nuts.

This is a really dumb question but I may have missed it...

Is the Camp put on by Hawaii and Nebraska or is it by Nebraska for Calabasas and Hawaii kids(??) or none of the above?

I'm trying to figure out how Hawaii plays into this.

Actually, technically the camp is put on by a third party (that is the loophole) and not the colleges themselves. My guess is in this case that third party is calabas so technically it is their camp and not Nebraska's. Nebraska is technically a guest.

Of course that is the technicality as if you don't have a headliner (or two or three) college program(s) nobody would show up. However, besides the headliner(s) other colleges are welcome and invited. Some of these camps get coaches from 100 or so colleges participate from D1a down to DIII and jucos.

Edit: should add the camps are open to all kids of a certain age range (designated by the camp) who sign up and pay though some put a cap on registration.

Got it, that makes sense. I just couldn't figure out the Hawaii part.
