Honestly it's why I laugh when people say things like, "This loss is inexcusable" or whatever. Baseball is a probability game. The better team will win 60-70% of the time... Which means bad teams beat good teams... Sometimes.
Omaha was a hangover game. I do wish we would get Kansas to come into town or even Wichita State again. Nebraska gets absolutely nothing out of playing Omaha. I guess the game at Warner is fun but nothing good really comes from it.
Tangential thought here... Think UNO has any shot at getting invited to the Mo Valley now that Wichita State is moving to the AAC? I'm guessing no, but I'd be curious how interested the MVC would be to get back into Omaha. Articles I'm reading are saying Valpo, SLU, Murray State, and Belmont.
