Nebraska just sent out a release for this week and Derek Burkamper was listed as the probable starter for Wednesday's game against Michigan State.
Burkamper started the series opener against Michigan State and got the win. He went 5.1 innings and allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits and four walks, while striking out five.
Michigan State is scheduled to counter with senior Cam Vieaux. The 6-4 left hander did not start last weekend against Maryland, but did see 0.1 inning of relief in the finale, allowing one run on one hit and he did record a strikeout. Vieaux pitched in the rubber match against the Huskers in East Lansing and took the loss.
