Hitting under the Mendoza line and gets promoted to Omaha. I would say maybe KC is grooming him to be a defensive replacement for later in the season but KC is already pretty stout in the outfield.

He would only be an add on for a trade. He really doesn't have much trade value at this point.
This is why he did the Right thing taking the MONEY. Or so it sounds; sure we will hear the " rest of the story".
He made the right decision to play baseball and collect a 7.5 million signing bonus.
A .185 average and more strikeouts than hits -- and he is promoted? Reminds me of a stock my brother bought and then refused to sell until the company was bankrupt. The Royals must be desperate to get back some of their huge investment. Otherwise, Bubba would be unemployed by now. He is supposed to be a great outfielder but already has four errors this year, which is a bunch for an outfielder. Very strange stuff.
The higher the level in the minors, the more consistent the pitching is.They could be seeing if this will bring out his potential before the reaper is deployed.
High possibility it could be in a different uniform by the end of the month. However, I hope he can turn it around soon!!
