Huskers to Appear on BTN Six Times in 2016

The Big Ten Network has announced its 2016 volleyball television coverage, and the defending national champion Nebraska volleyball team is set to make six appearances on the conference network.
The Huskers will make their first BTN appearance Sept. 28 at Illinois (7:30 p.m. CT). In a 15-day span in October, the Huskers will be on BTN four times: Oct. 14 at Ohio State (5 p.m.), Oct. 21 vs. Wisconsin (8 p.m.), Oct. 23 vs. Minnesota (1 p.m.) and Oct. 28 vs. Illinois (6 p.m.). Nebraska's match at Penn State on Nov. 4 will also be on BTN with a time to be determined.
The Huskers' six BTN matches is tied for the most in the conference. A complete television and streaming schedule, including BTN Plus matches online, will be announced later this summer.
Nebraska opens the 2016 season with the Red/White Scrimmage Saturday, Aug. 20 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the match are expected to go on sale within the coming weeks. An announcement will be made on Huskers.com.
