This is way too many night games. Someone has a duty to tell the truth about all this. This is the kind of stuff that comes from the 3rd floor, and is trying to ruin everything!!!

That Minnesota night game could be awfully brutal, really not too happy about this game being at night. Only other night game (so far) at home is the Fresno State game and that's fine since it's Labor Day weekend and it usually pretty warm during the day.

The good thing about night games is that it gives recruits that are flying in time to play their Friday night games and still make it for the Husker game. I can't imagine there is a better time to get them on campus than a home football game. I agree if you are bringing in a warm weather recruit for the Minnesota game it will be cold, but then I guess we'll tell them they can't play for the Patriots or Packers, etc.

Might be. But Michigan State last year was a night game in November, and it wasn't too bad weather-wise

From a weather site - The temperature typically varies from 34°F to 51°F and is rarely below 22°F or above 66°F.

Extremely unlikely for snow at this point in the year. I'd say that is football weather and would be fine to play in the evening.

I have always wondered which start time the Lincoln bars/restaurants prefer. I would guess 2:30 is most desirable with 11am being the least desirable.

That's an interesting question. I tend to agree that 2:30 is the safest, but I'd bet they do a ton of business all day on those evening games. And the late night folks will probably go out either way at night.

Sometimes I read things and I wonder if our fans remember Husker football before the Big Ten?

-2010 - Nebraska hosted KU on Nov. 13th for a 6 pm kick.. Temp was 60 degrees
- 2009 - Nebraska hosted OU on Nov. 7th and K-State on Nov. 20th. - Temp was in the lower 50's for both games.

Here's the weather during the day the last few years on those game days:

2012: Penn State came to Lincoln on November 10th.- Temp was 76 degrees at Kickoff.
2012- Minnesota came to Lincoln on November 17th - Temp was 62 degrees at Kickoff.

2013- Nebraska hosted Michigan State on November 16th - Temp was 64 degrees at kickoff.. Aside from the outcome of the game, that day was one fo the nicest days I remember for a home game in Lincoln.

I could go on and on.. The weather in early to mid November is often very nice in Lincoln.

I often wonder where the misconception of typical Nebraska Weather comes from. I think it is that when there is a storm, it is usually a memorable one and that becomes imprinted in the mind. Having attended games forever, I personally have seen the heat be more brutal than any inclement weather. Was at a couple of Colorado games in Lincoln and an OU game in Lincoln that had sleet/rain but other than that, maybe some high 30s/low 40s temps on occasion.
