So since 2017 only Nebraska and Kansas of the Power 5 conferences had failed to qualify for a bowl game. Well Kansas qualified yesterday. It's safe to say no major athletic program in country has invested so much money only to receive so little in return. Can it get worse?

It can always get worse. The question is, will it get better?

Now that Illinois has qualified for a bowl - since Frost took over in 2018 every big ten west team has gone to multiple bowls while we have yet to play in one

Trev just needs more time to get his guys in. Moos really did a number on this university. Takes 4 years to become bowl eligible as AD. He played in the 90s so I trust him

You hire a inexperienced WR coach as headcoach.

Gets worse with MJ & Patterson
Gets mildly better to bowl eligible level with Rhule, Chadwell, & BoB
Playing in B1G championships and coming playoffs with Freeze

No one else will take the job. Throw the bank at Freeze if there’s anyone left with any intelligence with nebraska football

Worst mens sports program in the entire nation.
Its honestly one of the most remarkable things ever. What are the odds a university with this much support, this many fans, this much money, these facilities, this much money, this much history, can be so astronomically putrid as to be the worst.

UNBELIEVABLE.

Get them to turn in their game consoles and their bags of weed and we might have something cooking in Lincoln, NE.. Ope. Guess not.

pretty accurate. i cant believe how little else nebraskans have to care about that they continue to spend A LOT of money to watch bad football. apparently there is actually NOTHING else to do in nebraska with your money.

Genius investing by @Bigtimebooster

Lesson to the kids - results like this happen when you inherit your money and do not earn it on your own.

I'm strongly of the opinion that the need for a groundbreaking hire is necessary. I haven't heard anything about Meyer lately but that is the level of hire needed. NU is a shambles right now and I don't feel that it's worth gambling on anyone that isn't a proven winner in a P5 conference.
