just stated that he thinks Frost is getting cold feet to come back to NU because of the recruiting disadvantages it has. These national guys have no clue what they are talking about. He's the one that was saying Frost to Florida 3 weeks ago. But the more I think back, the more I realize the perception of NU by the national media has always been biased. Back in the 90s, even at our peak, they always chose the shiny toy over the hard-working Big Red. Only after we thoroughly dominated those "shiny toy" teams did they give us our due and only for a short time period. Then the next year another shiny new toy would be all the rage and they would again have the same narrative about NU as always.
I actually like the idea that no one thinks we can compete anymore. Maybe with the right coaching staff we can get that edge back to prove them wrong. GBR.
