While I was a Bo supporter longer than many, this above all his other failings, and misguided attempts to be a head coach, was the single most gut wrenching assault on Husker Nation that he committed. He just never understood it, and almost seemed to object to the tradition that is the Blackshirts.
Being a defensive player at Ohio State, might play into it, I don't know, but I hated Bo for how he tried to eviscerate one of, if not the best defensive tradition in all of college football.
