Bill Snyder...Should he be doing this?

Has there ever been a Husker player or coach who received one of these? Did he ever send one to Bo?

Coach Snyder's coaching philosophy is simple. Control the clock, don't be your own worst enemy, play relatively sound defense, have above average special teams, stick to the game plan, and coach player's up. He has done far more with less. Too many coaches these days try to complicate things and outfox themselves (Langsdorf, for example, "It's hard to convert three successful running plays in a row." WTF, Langsdorf? Are you serious? That's Bill Callahan NFL mentality right there. Outthinking oneself.) This game isn't hard; it's about sound technique, fundamentals, and discipline. Not crazy play calling, wild schemes, and complex terminology.

He sent a heartfelt condolence to a Husker player that had a career ending injury. Can't remember who but I can away impressed with Coach Snyder.

There have been a couple of times when they played a team that was really struggling and he spoke to the players after the game (with the opposing coach's permission, of course). If you know the Phil Bennett story, you know what kind of man he is.

Snyder took the worst of the worst and made them very very good. This guy, as a coach, is a class act. I love his style.
