At least agree to a 5 inning game since that game will be a huge factor in the standings. Isnt 4 and 1/2 innings considered a completed game?

We should get the automatic win on our record..

Absolutely. baseball is, what, 150 years old? Long standing rules require a team unable to field the team to forfeit the win. The other team wins.

Besides, I wonder how many high school pitchers are on that team. Put the third baseman on the mound, whatever, just play.

That is a forfeit then, period
I don't understand why they didn't just play three 5/7 inning games instead of playing it by ear and hoping NW could find a pitcher that had thrown 3 innings all year all of a sudden come out and toss a CG. Maybe Purdue or Illinois want to play a midweek game?

An Indiana/Illinois game has gone missing off the Warren Nolan schedule. At D1Baseball they mark it "PPD, inclement weather". Postponed? Will that be made up, maybe midweek game?

Just last week OSU and Purdue hastily scheduled a midweek game b/c they both lost out on a entire weekend series. OSU with Minnesota and Purdue with NW. Point being a midweek game was approved and played. OSU won 5-1.

If we don't get to make up this game I'm calling foul. Hell, I'm calling foul anyway. This game should be a forfeiture, Huskers awarded the win. 150 years of baseball say so.

Indiana has to play Maryland at College Park the their last seies and Michgan next weekend. The Twerps are ranked 4th this conference. I can see both Indiana and Michigan dropping games to them.
