We have 16 games before we play a big series Oregon State. We are good enough to win the majority of those and we will be in a good position going forward.
Ya, but just seems like we struggle out of the gate every year.

Is Pudue playing that much weaker of a schedule?

Purdue's schedule has been pretty weak. 4 games against Stephen F. Austin, Niagara and Akron.

But we've lost to some pretty unspectacular teams as well.

Purdue plays a weak non conference schedule every year. They always do really well early on

Our losses this year have been to:
1. UC Irvine - #66 RPI
2. Grand Canyon - #73 RPI
3. Louisiana - #126 RPI
4. LSU - #89 RPI (#2 ranked team)
5. Kansas State #34 RPI

UC Irvine, Grand Canyon, LSU, and Kansas State are all teams that will make/come close to making the NCAA tournament.

Losing to Louisiana twice is what stings and that is the only unspectacular team. We should have swept them.

So I guess if we were a regional team we would beat a couple of those teams ?

I don't think the MM news is going to be good, hope I'm wrong.

That is a serious gut punch for this team.

Well we beat Vanderbilt, the team that is #11 in RPI. I think Vandy will pry have a pretty good season this year.

Gonna be hard to make it through a regional without our ace though.
