Game will begin at 1:30pm eastern (12:30pm central) or 40 minutes after the conclusion of Game 7, whichever is later.

Iowa will be the home team.

Plenty of Husker red in the stands already.

Going to be a high scoring game with the way the wind is blowing out.

Sucks not being the home team in this game.

@saluno22 Good sir!

I got pulled into a sales call with my team so I may be spotty on the updates. The nice thing is it is a off site conference call and I'm there more so for support purposes so I can do my best to give updates. Otherwise feel free to toss out the major scoring plays if I miss anything. :confused:

Alvarado L5, grab on a hot shot down the line, would have been extra bases if not for a great snag by Adams.

wow, here we go back to about 4 weeks ago when they would get runners on with no outs then strand them every inning. 7 runners LOB through 4 innings. Can someone string something together please. Of all teams to choke against don't make it Iowa.

Twice now, 2 on no out. Nothing to show for it.

Come on offense. Don't go into hiding now

Ironically they've had nothing really all day except one good swing

B5:
G4
G6
(Both bats might still be ringing on those groundouts)
Single up the middle
Single lined to LF, runners on 1st and 2nd
<mound meeting>
Adams RBI single up the middle, runners take the extra base, 2-0 IOWA (pounded the inside zone on the first 3 pitches, then went outside and paid for it), runners on the corners, 2 out.
G4, lucky Schlepp was playing WAY over.

2-0 Iowa after 5

Roskam getting loose in the dugout, need to get some offense going. Consequently, Raburn has not been a problem on offense, but there's only so much juice to squeeze out of him. Take the hit he gave us and be thankful.

T6:
Miller P7
Alvarado G5
Wilkening single up the middle
Schlepp G1 on a check swing

2-0 Iowa, mid 6

Raburn staying in the game at 3B.
Burkamper still on the mound for the 6th.
