The 1971 Nebraska team which the majority of people know beat the #2,#3 and 4 teams at seasons end.. Who had a better season than that except this 2019 LSU team who beat 7 of 10 top 10 teams..

Putting the 1971 Nebraska team a 9th seed proves whoever put this bracket together shows how flawed this is..

Yeah the 87 Canes team was lucky to even be the national champs in 1987. Florida State almost beat them but instead of going for 1 and a tie, went for 2.

that’s 2 National championship Miami has on failed two point conversion when the other team could have played for a tie. Just luck really
