Best JUCO players since 1981, in honor of Kirk Ferentz's first Iowa-Nebraska game.

For Iowa: Hall of Famer DE at Iowa [5-2 defense back in 1981] and OLB for New England Andre Tippett. Senior DE in 1981 Iowa-Nebraska game.

Currently in NFL: OG Marshall Yanda with Baltimore Ravens. Born in my hometown. No IA-UNL game during his career?

Maxwell Winner: Iowa QB Brad Banks. He threw to his WR cousin C.J. Jones, who played in NFL. Again, no Iowa-Nebraska game.

Currently on roster: no major contributor this year from JC prospective

For Nebraska:

LB Lavonte David on defense
RB Mike Rozier on offense

Current player: LB Will Honas on defense

RB Dedrick Mills transferred from GA Tech, but began at a JC, correct?
