Taking the idea from a previous post about best individual players NU has competed against. It is so hard to include all positions on a 'best' list. I would probably have to break it down by best 5 at various positions, sorry for mispellings, going off memory. Feel free to add/delete or create your own lists and/or position groups.

As you can see, I am partial to players from our various conferences, as we got to see them more than 1 time. Obviously there are other position groups you may want to add (LB, DB, OL, etc). I didn't add DB because for many years the other teams defensive backfield didn't have much of an impact since we passed so infrequently. I wish I could remember more LB's and OL's.
