I've seen it mentioned briefly in a few of the threads, but I'm curious. As a father of two boys, I wonder if I would be crushed if my son didn't want to play for me. Now, before everyone goes crazy, hear me out. There are many and various reasons why a kid wouldn't want to play for his dad and possibly many reasons a dad doesn't want to coach his son. I've coached for over 15 years and I've seen first hand dad/son coaching situations go badly. I for one will give all the intsruction in the world to my two boys, but I will hold back on coaching them in organized sports. I want to sit back and enjoy and be a dad. So having said that, I'm sure no one really knows, but what's been running through my mind when I first heard about the Miles kid was, how could he go anywhere but LSU? Now that he has committed, I am really really wondering what is going through Les's head. Is he disappointed, sad, hurt or happy? I'm not sure how I would feel.
