Their Title IX coordinator has resigned and punted on signing a confidentiality agreement in exchange for some $$. She's going to go on network news tomorrow and unload on what has been going on there regarding the sex abuse allegations.
Wow, thanks for the report. So the University lawyers and professionals called her out.Yep. They offered her $50k to keep quiet. She asked for $2M and they denied it. Within minutes she was booked on national TV.
She released a statement that said something to the affect that she'd been stonewalled on trying to fix the issues and was doing this so the women of Baylor can protect themselves.
Apparently, their safety is worth up to $1,999,999.99. After that, they're on their own.
Yep. The big loser here could be Briles, depending on what comes outArt Briles LSU and Texas on the line.
To be honest I have not followed all the details of this story. I know Briles was fired, but there can also be scapegoating so I tried not to make a premature judgement. But you sound like you have followed this more closely than I have. So there is good evidence that Briles new about all this crap? Guess so.Briles is already a loser for allowing that crap to go on under his watch
If reports are true that she was willing to stay quiet for a cool 2mil..... then barf. Everything she's about to say may be true, but she just told all of us she was for sale and would have stayed quiet for the right amount of money, or in other words, she's no better than those she's about to out.
Like the old joke. A guy tells a woman what if I fly you first class around the world, buy you gourmet dinners, shower you with clothes and jewels, all I ask is you are "good to me" along the way. She says, "Yeah, I could probably do that." He then says how about if we eat at McDonalds and get a room at the Days Inn? She says, "What do you think I am?" He says, "I already know what you are, I'm just trying to figure out a price."If reports are true that she was willing to stay quiet for a cool 2mil..... then barf. It's a lot of bureaucratic BS and paperwork. Then pray you don't get caught up in something like this. It's a crappy job and generally you are not well liked on campus. It's worse than being in HR.On a side note, what exactly does a Title IX Coordinator do for a University, count the total number of women on scholarship?
Well you know, Baylor had a pretty spotless record before this whole mess. Except for that time when a basketball player murdered his teammate and the coach tried to sweep it under the rug. But other than that...

Art Briles was a great HS coach, 4 state titles, offensive genius and great person. He didn't rape anyone, nor did he tell anyone to rape anyone. He isn't the police nor the DA and a college isn't the judicial or justice system. He is a father surrogate for these 100 or so guys and as such it makes no sense to kick kids off for allegations. I think Briles was unfairly fired at Baylor, IMHO.
Whatever you say.
He is a scum that knew he had players sexually assaulting women then he and his coaches tried to get the women to recant their stories.
There is no reason to bob his knob
Just curious, but what did you think about TO when he was still coaching Nebraska?
Here we go....
Obviously you want to throw in your two cents, so why do you answer the question.
Well...I would not...because it is super expensive. How many of you would encourage your 18 year old daughters to go to Baylor?
You might want to send them to an all girls school...campus sexual assault is high on all campuses.I wouldn't if they paid for it

What?Oh so since it goes on at other campuses... why did they fire Paterno? I guess forced sex with little boys is less acceptable than forced sex with young women.
They were probably asking for it huh?
