Amazing defense-you're not going to win many games by 3 runs when you give up 19 hits. First time in 11 years we've won a game on Day 1 of a regional. Hopefully sets us up nicely for a run-at least to make it to the championship.

I believe this is the second regional win for Erstad. The last one came in 2014 vs Binghamton in an elimination game.Today is the first time NU has won its opening regional game since 2008.
