By the look of this our talent pool continues to be poor. I know that most of our talent lies within the younger guys who haven’t had the chance to prove it yet. Winning and going to a bowl will help get some of our guys noticed going forward.

Yeah, I was starting to drink the koolaid again, but this sobered me up.

For reference, going into last season we had 6 total selections.
-3 second-team (JD, Mo Barry, and DiCap)
-3 third-team (Adrian, Mo Wash, Jaimes).

I think the loss of JD is going to be bigger than many are making it out to be. Hopefully Martinez returns to form & we have some young guys step up.

Hmmm, no Cam Taylor-Britt, Cam Jurgens or D Mills and i suppose i can see why with the early struggles with Mills and Jurgens. But Cam Taylor-Britt could have easily hit 2nd or 3rd team. And Wan’Dale Robinson is 3rd APB? I’d had him 2nd, not 3rd. Dude had 1,000 plus total yards as a true freshman and he missed a game or two and no bowl game to help with stats.

I’m not worried about this preseason list. I’m sure Cam Jurgens, D Mills, Cam Taylor-Britt, Adrian Martinez and D Williams will show up as guys that could have been on the list. And I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Omar Manning kills it this year. The man seems VERY focused and knows he’s more then likely the man at the TRUE WR spot (considering Wan’dale Robinson as a APB).

Taylor-Britt was pretty inconsistent last year.

I’ll just assume these are correct until the staff and players demonstrate differently.

Man I hope you are right. But just taking off the red-blinders and playing devil's advocate...

-CTB was often our worst graded DB last year. He was playing out of position a lot, and he has showed a lot of promise, so I can see your optimism but at this point he hasn't earned a spot on that list.

-Jurgens improved as the year went on but had a really bad first half of the season. I do think he will pick up where he left off, but again- he hasn't earned a spot here.

-Our only real look at D Williams was as a reserve player in 2018. Again he flashed, but you can't even argue him into an all B1G selection.

-Omar Manning could be great but who knows. Greg Bell was the #1 JUCO at his position last year too...

-And Adrian may stay in 2019 form. Which was not good.
