It looked like we had no shot at a W until well into the 4th quarter - nice effort to tie the game - but we are 1-2 will 2 cardiac losses. If those help us win B1G games - so be it. Not sure it does but we won't play a team with that much talent on offense until Mich St.

Hell, a 3-point loss in OT, after we dug ourselves a massive hole to start the game. Whomever said we have championship talent doesn't know sh*t about football. We were way outclassed athletically today, and still managed to lose in OT. Our OLine was beaten like a mule with their pass rush. Tommy had someone in his face nearly every pass he threw. And we don't have a serviceable RB to speak of when going up against good talent.

On defense, we have absolutely no pass rush, and other than Gerry, our defensive backfield is pretty slow. And we are starting a true freshman LB, with walkons as our 2nd string. This isn't an indictment of the players nearly as much as it is an indictment of our past recruiting. We just don't have the players on hand to compete at a high level right now.

You don't think starting a kid at defensive end that was a bench-warmer at tight end last year... is great talent. And all the dynamite backups at end.
