I read an article that said tommy Armstrong and Reilly are both working with Keith Williams for preparation for the nfl draft. While Nate Gerry and Jordan westercamp are both training in Florida. westercamp said he will be running in a couple of weeks. I like Armstrong but I dont see him making an nfl team as a wide receiver. But I hope he proves me wrong.

That's weird that TA is not going to try to be an NFL QB... Winking

Would he make a better WR than Braxton Miller? Who knows, but Miller has the upper hand as he at least played it a year in college.

At least TA has had a TD reception so we know he is able to watch the ball!

Maybe TA can be like Edelman or Randel El. He does have some talent, so maybe he can get a free agent deal or something and at least get a chance.

Williams is not charging Reilly $$ or anything like that...

That has never even crossed my mind before that a coach might charge a former player between his final season and the NFL draft.

These players have talent, but who knows how it will translate to the NFL. Some players in the past have surprised me and ended up being starters in the NFL but didn't produce much while in college.

I think it makes sense that Westerkamp is preparing in Florida. The one thing that will improve his draft stock the most is running a good 40.

Williams teaches how run routes, catch properly, be a WR, not how to run a 40 meter dash.

So "Westerkamp said he will be running in a couple of weeks" means what?

He is injured still and has yet to start running again and plans to start running in a couple weeks so he is ready for the Husker pro Day on March 14th?

Or does it mean that he will be running at the combine in a couple weeks? (Not sure if he was even invited)

Is he rehabbing in Florida?

I don't think any team is going to use up a draft pick on TA. However, there will be a lot of teams that will be interested in him as a free agent. The only way I think he is drafted is if his stock somehow improves enough to be of value in a trade scenario. Regardless, he will get a shot to work out and make a team somewhere.
