This guy has the look of a future NFL receiver to me, the kind of kid who will be 6-4, 210 or bigger by the time he leaves college. Fluid moves, pull-away speed, long arms and good hands.
Any recent updates? Maybe I missed it.
I like the quick little WRs just fine for jet sweeps, slot action, etc., but I really like the bigger-bodied targets.
I'm guessing the only reason more of the top programs aren't going after Thompson is he's on the skinny side, perhaps not ready to play immediately. But with a year in the weight room and at the training table, look out. If we don't get Lewis, I prefer this kid over Calvin or Hawkins.
