Probably lots of departures because the team is so talented and continues to recruit over players with each new class so that guys who haven't already secured field time see the writing on the wall. They realize it's either sit on the bench or go elsewhere if they want to play. AND, it's likely that coaches are encouraging many players to leave to make room for other guys to come in.

The funds are being spent down on C level NIL players (Reimer and Henrich) in order to have less available to go after impact players

The sooner frost gets another gig the sooner the leader (a Frost loyalist) of our current main NIL repository gets to jump back on the gravy train

Oddly these C level players have been among the top tacklers the past two years. Heinrich averaged nearly 8 tpg playing injured, Reimer almost 9. We don't yet know if B or A level players are available to replace them (cause we don't yet know who those players are). If you aren't going to throw a little NIL cash to your starting LBs, who is deserving?
Reimer ran a 10.92 100M as a HS junior. I bet Rhule likes that stat quite a bit.
