Just curious if any on has heard any updated news on K. Williams transfer plans. Some UK posters seem to feel that the UK coaches have cooled on the idea of bringing him on.

Well he would only be called the starter here; he of little time is going to expect the fast track to starter for transferring; so I would expect. I have been a fan of his and appreciate the injuries and frustration; would guess the players at KU are thinking; well wheres our spot - not saying for sure, but there are many aspects.

I think I remember some ATM rumblings as well, but I could be "misremembering"

I doubt Kentucky would "Cool on him."
However, there are some rules for transferring as a Grad Transfer that make things a bit trickier than it may seem to most of us.

1. In order to transfer as a Grad Transfer, the school you're transferring to must offer a Grad Program NOT offered at your undergraduate institution.

2. You have to be accepted into that degree program, which is obvious. But many institutions have pretty strict requirements for Grad Schools such as GPA and other requirements... Some schools would likely make concessions for a football player, but probably not as many conccessons as undergrad.

3. The football team also needs to have an available scholarship.. Although, some players can accept Financial Aid and NoT be on scholarship. This actually places more money in a players pocket because the Financial Aid packages for Grad Students leaves a higher disbursement for housing and other costs.
