Huskers fans can do better.. no belief or faith in this team, staff players at all. Offensive line looked great against a solid pass rush despite first game jitters penalties which is to be expected, offensive line playing well led to Tre Bryant looking like a young Ameer as a sophomore. Stanley, DPE, Spielman, Lindsey & Hoppes are truly a great receiving core that's going to continue to get better with tanner lees progression as the season goes on. Defense can get better and should expect to look iffy the first week with a new system and young players. Despite giving up a lot of yards we won turnover margin & won the game vs a solid under the radar team that gave their best shot at us. Yes we can improve but all the negativity within our fan base is only holding us back as a program. We have to support our team as whole no matter what happens. I mean look at how all teams looked the first week, sluggish, rusty, full of mistakes, close games etc. We got a full season ahead of us, if your giving up now why call yourself a fan? Keep your heads up, we're gonna be better than we were last year, don't say I didn't tell you so.
