Attending a judicial conference in Arkansas. Attendees from seven midwestern states. One of the speakers was U.S. Senator John Boozman, from Arkansas. Because the host of the conference and the man who introduced Boozman was a Nebraskan, Boozman said that he had sat next to Tom Osborne when they were both in the US House of Representatives, and that they had become good friends. Boozman said that, in all of his time in Washington, Osborne was the finest man he had met.
