An Ohio kid you guys should recruit

I've followed NE Ohio high school football for 40 years. Every so often, I run across a player, who "falls through the cracks" when it comes to being recruited. Four years ago, I watched a running back named Kareem Hunt, nobody recruited him. After watching him play, I started a thread about him on Buckeye Planet

Hunt ended up at Toledo and today, CBS Sports considers him to be the sixth best back in the 2016 NFL draft.

This year, there is a wide receiver Jason Blizzard, at Mentor High School who fits the description. Mentor, has the largest enrollment in the state of Ohio. Blizzard leads the state of Ohio in receiving yards, and is number thirteenth nationally. Nine of the players ranked ahead of him have played at least one more game than he has, some two games.

Three weeks ago, Mentor played eleven time, big school, state champion, Cleveland St Ignatius. Blizzard had 14 receptions for 342 yards and 87 yards rushing, That is the third highest receiving total in the history of Ohio high school football. Blizzard never filled out any of the recruiting forms or attended any camps, as a result he's getting almost no attention. I doubt OSU ever heard of him, you guys may want to take a look?

Yep, I'm sure the third highest receiving total in Ohio high school history hasn't hit the Buckeye radar....Urban has a history of not recruiting well. We'll get right on that.

I can understand your response. As you are aware, Urb's 2016 recruiting class is considered number one by all the recruiting services. OSU may have room for one more wide receiver, and there are top prospects, from all over the country, standing in line for the spot. An unheard of 5'10" kid from a suburban school, aint anywhere on that list.

Not to beat a dead horse, I mentioned in my post, the 342 yard game came against Cleveland St Ignatius. Off the top of my head, I can think of two players on the OSU roster who played at SI. This year, Meyer lost a recruiting battle with ND, for a offensive lineman from SI. I can say with some certainty, Meyer was made aware, Mentor beat SI, 63-56, and some kid put up 429 total yards on SI.

Well now you changed your tune. You went from OSU has never heard of this guy to they may not have room for a guy. And I also love how you want Nebraska to go after an "unheard of 5'10" suburban kid"
