Do they talk any soccer? Number 1 in the nation....College soccer is brutal to watch I would think soccer talk is equally awful
Not a Jays fan in any way, shape or form but I'm not really understanding the random bashing on Creighton out of nowhere. Some of you need to take hint and realize that the Jaysker horse has been beaten to death. It is just lame and pathetic at this point. Quite frankly, if I was you, I would petition that the local radio spend more time discussing the Jays than dissecting the rotting corpse known as Husker football.
Now, now.....let's all be nice here. We can all be rest assured that this all goes back to Dan Bebee and that one second screwjob. Nebraska had no choice but to leave....or maybe they should spend less time covering a football program that not only surrendered the Big 12 to Texas and Oklahoma and ran off like a spoiled child but has now surrendered the putrid B1G West to Wisconsin, Minnesota.... Illinois!?! I mean how many hours daily can you discuss how far the Husker program has fallen, is screwed for the foreseeable future with this staff?
If you don't like it, don't listen. News flash, some fellow citizens in our state want to listen about other teams. Your Jay bashing is akin to that douchebag guy at a party who overhears someone else's joke, co-op's it and keeps repeating over and over as his own while everyone else silently thinks, 'what a loser'.
lol........you sure you're not a 'Jay's fan? I mean, I don't care. I have no problems with Creighton. But you're taking this fairly personal....or maybe they should spend less time covering a football program that not only surrendered the Big 12 to Texas and Oklahoma and ran off like a spoiled child but has now surrendered the putrid B1G West to Wisconsin, Minnesota.... Well he's not taking it any more personal than the poster who started the thread.lol........you sure you're not a 'Jay's fan? I mean, I don't care. I have no problems with Creighton. But you're taking this fairly personal.
They have this thing called a dial on the radio. You're right, they should dedicate more summer programming to a school that has no football program, and doesn't start playing basketball games until November. I think I'll start listening, so I can get caught up on Creighton soccer and volleyball too. Thanks for the tip.

Post McBuckets CU 1, NU, 0. But I think you will be proven right, starting this year. But as of right now, this very second, NU has been owned by them for a long time. I assume that is over though.

Seriously not a Jays fan. Didn't go to school there, could care less. Husker fan since birth and root for them over the Jays every time in any sport.lol........you sure you're not a 'Jay's fan? I mean, I don't care. I have no problems with Creighton. But you're taking this fairly personal.

That being said, I'm just tired of the Jay-bashing by some morons on this board. The dead horse has been bludgeoned at this point. First off, the fact that some grown men here have a problem with the fact that some of their fellow citizens have chosen to follow another local university is pathetic and white trash. Secondly, it is embarrassing that Nebraska has fallen so far that one of the few fanbases left that said 'fans' feel they can still rib is Creighton fans. God damn pathetic.

Hah! If that last part were the threshhold for Nebraska-based sports-talk radio, there'd be crickets across the entire AM dial.I wish your team well this year, but my post isn't bashing Creighton. It IS bashing the radio station for putting programming on that is forced to discuss Creighton basketball 6 months before the season starts, and then soccer and volleyball in August and September.
A radio program should never...And I mean NEVER...discuss soccer or volleyball! Period! And if Creighton were a national title contender, I could understand discussing basketball practices 6 months before the season, but we both know they aren't remotely close to that level.

Not true. Many die-hard Husker hoop fans. I'm one of them. Rarely missed a game when I was going to school at Nebraska. I love the hoops and play recreationally with a bunch of guys every week. So it's not dead, here. But when you don't win, you get that assumption. BTW......I went to WSU for grad school and the opposite occurred for me in my attitude toward Shocker hoops. I can't stand WSU. But like CU, you need to get out of the MVC. Like CU, it does you no good.I am a Nebraska football fan since birth but a Wichita State fan for basketball since I attended school there. Nebraska has never really cared that much about basketball (just time to fill until Spring ball).
