In a celebratory announcement, Adrian Martinez, a standout former Nebraska quarterback, has been honored with a selection to the All-United Football League’s inaugural team. The league recognized Martinez’s exceptional performance as the All-UFL quarterback on a sunny Wednesday afternoon.

Martinez had an impressive season, demonstrating his dual-threat capabilities. He aired out 1,749 yards, connecting for 15 touchdowns, and was intercepted only three times.

Before stepping into the UFL, Martinez polished his skills over four seasons with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, spanning 2018 to 2021, and capped off his collegiate career at Kansas State. Throughout his college tenure, he accumulated 9,391 passing yards, delivered 49 touchdowns against 30 interceptions, and rushed for 2,847 yards, finding the end zone an additional 44 times.
Martinez’s prowess will be on full display as he leads the Birmingham Stallions into a decisive clash with the Michigan Panthers for the USFL Conference Championship. The Stallions, boasting a perfect 2-0 record against the Panthers this season, aim to extend their dominance when they meet this Saturday.

Fans are gearing up for the showdown, set to kick off at 3:00 p.m. CT, with live coverage on ABC.

The official Twitter account of Martinez’s team celebrated his achievement with a post, exuberantly declaring, “Adrian Martinez is your 2024 All-UFL QB @MartinezTheQB | #GIDDYUP ,” complemented by an image of a triumphant Martinez.

This accolade not only highlights Martinez’s remarkable year but also marks a significant milestone in his professional career, affirming his status as a leading quarterback in the United Football League.
