Everyone, I need lots of prayers for my wife, Cheree. She was sent to the ER Wednesday night for severe abdominal pain. They determined it was Pancreatitis. Upon further evaluation, they found a tumor in her pancreas. It is unknown at this time if it's cancerous or not. They will hopefully find out today sometime. I haven't been a very religious man in my life, but I need God more than ever now. Please help me pray for her.

If someone can post this on RSS, that would really make me feel better that more people can pray for her.

Thank you.

Your wife Cheree is in my thoughts and prayers. G-D bless her and you ....

UPDATE: The hospital my wife was initially being treated at discharged her earlier today. She is feeling better and her blood levels are back to normal. This particular hospital does not have the necessary equipment or tools to give her an endoscopic ultrasound, so she will be getting referred to a specialist that can hopefully knock that out this week. We're remaining positive and the outpouring of support we have received from friends, family, and strangers has been fantastic. I appreciate the prayers and I would like to ask for them to keep coming. We need all we can get. Thank you, all.

Prayers sent.

Being "religious" per se is not important........having faith that God is the almighty and that he can save us is all that is required to be a child of God. We are not saved by our own actions, but by God's mercy and love. The fact that you are asking for prayers proves your faith. God Bless!

UPDATE: My wife went to see a Gastrointestinal specialist this past Friday. He determined from the CT scans, based on his experience, that it was a cyst and not a tumor. While this is good news, she isn't out of the woods yet since pancreatic cysts can be cancerous as well. She has been scheduled to undergo an endoscopic ultrasound on May 26th to further investigate what we're dealing with. We're hopeful and praying it's nothing serious and that she'll be able to undergo whatever treatment is needed and carry on with her life as normal. It's going to be an agonizing week waiting for this procedure and waiting for solid answers. The speculation is driving me mad. With that said, please keep the prayers coming. We can feel the positive vibes. Thank you.

Good to hear. Like you said, not out of the woods but definitely better than the alternative. Continued prayers, my friend.

An extremely close family member is going through similar abdominal pain, and still trying to determine the cause after many tests.
Our prayers go out to you and your family.

UPDATE: The doctor that performed my wife's endoscopic ultrasound yesterday says the endosonographic appearance is consistent with serous cystadenoma, which in a vast majority of cases is a completely benign cyst and very rarely becomes cancerous. Official test results are pending but the doctor is confident that it's all good and that we'll have to just monitor it over the next few years to ensure it's not causing further harm. I cannot thank everyone enough for all their thoughts and prayers for my wife. It's very much appreciated. Now we can solely focus on our upcoming move from El Paso, TX to Lincoln!
