I was thinking about the best of the best for pupuserias , as I've been to a ton in both cities. Don't post a list. Post say, a top 3, in order. There's only 3 pupuserias you can eat at in either city for the rest of your life.
My top 3:
Bronze medal: El Chalateco, Bellevue (wavered between El Chalateco and La Choza for the bronze spot). Recently moved, and I didn't grow up in that area, but I still go there for the 'sa.
Silver medal: El Rinconcito, Omaha. The best chicharron 'sa I've had anywhere. Including New York. The owner probably isn't from there, oh well. Might top the charts if the old lady didn't always give me the stink eye.
Gold medal: Pupuseria Salvadoreno, Omaha. Always get the ayote and it's just so legit. So legit in fact, that I can't stop shoving 'sa in my head until it's gone
Let this be the thread of all threads to end the pupusa debate.
