So last night the wife was out and I was sitting around scanning thru channels on my Roku and ended up on Youtube and went to my Husker library and watched a few old highlights and one game. The highlights were 1977 vs Alabama, '92 Colorado, '10 Mizzou and the Game was the '83 Kickoff Classic vs PSU and my one the biggest thing that stood out was that those teams was this, they had these RB's that are all better than anyone on this team:
1977: Rick Burns, I.M. Hipp, Monty Anthony
1983: Rozier, Jeff Smith, Doug DuBose and maybe Paul Miles
1992: Calvin Jones, Derrick Brown
2010: Rex, Roy Helu
And the thing is we've had years where we were even deeper like '95 and '82, what in the world has happened that we are where we are and on top of that we didn't even think we needed a RB in this class until a month ago or so? Really? This staff was going to stand pat with what we had?
