A hot Husker Milf wants you to go to NY

99/100 times I would bet NU would have twice as many fans as the opponents at a neutral location. Obviously this is kind of different given that most BC fans live near NYC. Of course usually the cameras at these minor bowls seldom if ever show the crowd as empty seats are generally the majority.

Regardless that this very pricey and potentially icy bowl location is less than ideal, it will be interesting to see how much progress the DH offense will make with three weeks of practice.

Main thing I took from this is this kicker must be sticking around? I wouldn't think your mom would be this excited if you were leaving.

When we went to the Gator Bowl in 2013, it was literally 10 miles from the Georgia border, but we still had twice as many fans as Georgia did.

True but it wasn’t played in a freezer with astronomical hotel costs. Also we had a good team.

I hope I’m wrong but doubt many Husker fans will bite on this vacation and the Athletic Department will rack up a lot of red ink on unused ticket allocation.

I would assume they can turn back any unused allotment. I'm thinking too this will be lighter attendance than Phoenix or Florida for sure. You gotta remember back in the day most started planning bowl travel 9 months in advance ie hey we're going to go and made initial plans. You would think bowlless for so many years would mean excitement. NYC in the middle of winter has it's limitations on a weekend between holidays. I could see some east cost and new englander Huskers to be excited and go but there's not much to be excited about. Weather, travel, holidays, 50/50 game in a baseball stadium. Bowls north of Mason Dixon line don't move the needle for me
