Wtf? Someone elected this person and their feelings to office?
Honestly, I would support a conference banning their schools from doing that as the potential for brawls, etc is greatly increased. Similar to some conferences penalizing their schools for field storming or whatever.

I personally loved the passion. Nice to see that not everyone tries to be fake friends with everyone else.
Well for one, it's a turf field, so a flag can not be "planted" at the shoe. Secondly for an act to be a "felony," one would have to prove that a party was objectively harmed and that harm is commiserate with the sentence. Good luck with any of that lol

Rep. Josh Williams, whose district includes Toledo, introduced a bill this week that would make it a felony to plant a flag at the center of Ohio Stadium, the home of Ohio State, at any point on a game day.
The proposed bill is in response to the postgame altercation between Michigan and Ohio State players following the Wolverines' shocking 13-10 win over the Buckeyes on Nov. 30. During the postgame celebration, a Michigan player attempted to plant the Block M flag at the center of Ohio Stadium, which triggered a fracas among players and coaches. A heavy police presence helped separate the players, using pepper spray and threatening to use tasers.
The proposed bill is called the O.H.I.O. Sportsmanship Act. Ohio House Speaker Jason Stephens told the Columbus Dispatch this week that the bill has little hope of passing, at least in this session, which is coming to an end.
Williams didn't immediately return a request for comment from The Detroit News on Wednesday.
Williams is a Toledo College of Law graduate who teaches at Adrian College in Michigan. A Republican, he was elected to office in 2022, and he joined the Ohio House of Representatives in January 2023.

Holy f&ck, this should be embarrassing to all tOSU fans. Michigan should get an extra W in the win column just for this.
1) The bill proposed here is not ridiculous. It's beyond ridiculous. Grow the eff up.
2) I'm not certain what that Michigan player thought the outcome of running to the middle of the field, in the middle of a bunch of Ohio State players waving around that flag was going to be. Other than the exact outcome that he received. In what parallel universe does that NOT start a huge brawl?
I would like to make it a felony to put the little italicized t in from of OSU.
