There have been discussions here about people, mostly former players, who would be good A.D.'s, but I think anyone has defined what skills and abilities would make a great A.D. Some say Rimmington would be great because he is old line, smash mouth football. Well the Bob Father was old line smash mouth and I don't think he was a great A.D. As far as I know, Dollar Bill wasn't a college player of note, but he did a great job of building the facilities of the Athetic Department. Steve Oederson was a failure and a jerk on top of it, but he did the new field house, indoor facility, press box and west stadium sky boxes. So what do we want and what are the executive skills needed to be successful? Remington has played and built and mansged a small non profit successfully. Pollen has played and built a very successful business. Trev Alberts has played and been an Athletic Director in the Nebraska sysytem. Some say he hasn't been successful, but I note he is still there. It will be an interesting journey.
